Ankush Dawar: Born on 14th September 1979 (virgo) is a Disc Jockey turned Digital Video Artist and Graphic Designer. Studied at Modern School, Barahkhamba Road and further studied at different places and from different people including Delhi University.
I was always creatively inclined, my parents encouraged me to all sorts of things related to craft and creativity.
I learned painting for more than 8 years from Mrs.Shobha Broota at Triveni Kala Sangam where I learned about color and shape harmony.
Suddenly: my interest got diverted towards music. I started listening and mixing music.I learned professional DJing from professional Disc Jockeys. I worked as a professional Disc Jockey for 3 years for a leading entertainment company.
But something was wrong somewhere !
With DJing I was only able to relate and communicate with a limited crowd by playing songs composed by other people.
'Here I lacked myself' "I wanted a bigger audience"
Finally I shifted to the "Art of Visual Communication".
I learned multimedia for 3 years refining myself into a professional multimedia content creator. I do video editing,CD-rom and DVD-rom authoring, graphic designing for print, video and web, video post production etc.
Then I did a course in Professional photography from Triveni Kala Sangam. Mr .O.P Sharma taught me about the compositional elements of picture making where I also learned "Its not the camera which is important ; man behind the camera is important". |
